what we keep, and why.

the short version
Your location stays on your device. When you hold a seat, we keep your mobile number and your first name if you give it, to hold the seat and reach you about that plan. After a plan, we keep your yes or no. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising. No cookies, no tracking.
who we are

your location
If you tap “Find something near me” and allow it, your browser gives the page your approximate position. The page uses it on your device to estimate driving time and to check whether you are near Riyadh. It is never sent to us or stored.
what we keep
- When you hold a seat or a spot: your mobile number, your first name if you give it, the plan, and the mood and time you chose.
- If you cancel or tap “I'm here”: that fact, with the plan.
- After a plan: your yes or no to “see anyone again”, the first names you give, and anything you tell us went wrong.
- If you want to host: your first name, your number and what you would host.
We never show your number, your answers or your position to other people. IRL Hosts see how many people are coming, how many are coming alone, and the first names of people who tap “I'm here”.
on your device
To make your next visit shorter, this device remembers your number, your first name, your last mood and the plans you hold. It stays in your browser. “Forget me on this device”, on the first screen, clears it.
why
To hold your seat, reach you about that plan, put two people in touch only when both said yes, and improve the plans we propose. We rely on your consent, given when you send each form and withdrawn whenever you ask.
where and how long
Form answers are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, whose servers may be outside Saudi Arabia. We keep plan records for as long as you use IRL, and delete them when you ask. [transfer basis and retention period to confirm with counsel]
